How Men’s Fashion Trends Are Changing

In Men’s Fashion Trend 2021, we have a classic menswear design on our hands, the trench coat. A light weight, waterproof jacket that has been made to fit and flatter over the generations. It was worn mainly by military personnel during World War One but its heyday came during the Second World War when the British Army used them as a replacement for the heavy sergeants dress uniform. Although the trench coat is still seen widely in this day and age, it does not reflect the designs of times past as the trench coat is currently being worn by both the army and the police forces.

As we move forward into the spring and summer of the 21st century, we are seeing more progress in the materials, colours and cuts that men are choosing to wear. This is especially true with the menswear industry as manufacturers are no longer making coats out of old material such as wool. We now see fabrics such as nylon, cotton and even micro fibre in men’s fashion and therefore the 21st century wip men have the wide choice of garments to choose from.

This year is going to be all about fabrics such as cashmere, linen, cottons and seersucker which will form the basis of the new spring and summer wardrobe ranges. For this year, we have a couple new items to add to our existing Carhartt wardrobe. First up is the classic black Carhartt Wellington Sweater Jacket. As already mentioned, the Carhartt Company started manufacturing men’s winter clothing back in 1917. Ever since, the company has continued to develop and improve their products and now Carhartt itself is set to take over as the world’s largest luxury designer. The Carhartt Wellington Jacket will again form part of this year’s spring/summer 2021 collection and is available to buy online now.
